Sarabell Shirm Dunlap scrapbooks, 1938-1940.

This collection consists of two scrapbooks documenting Sarabell Shirm's time as a Penn State student from 1938 to 1940. The collections include newspaper articles about activities occurring around Penn State and, specifically, articles concerning student government and football. There are also several hair ribbons, dance and banquet booklets, and invitations to events in the collection. There are photographs of the Penn State campus, including a map of the State College area and campus, possibly on a Corner Room restaurant placemat.

Sarabell Shirm (later Mrs. Wallace H. Dunlap) was from Montoursville, Pennsylvania. She studied home economics and graduated in 1940. Shirm was very involved with student activities, such as Theta Alpha Phi, Mortar Board, Players, and the Penn State Christian Association (P.S.C.A.). She was a senior sponsor and the first student All-College Vice President.
